Indian Air Force Group X Y Admit Card 2021

The Indian Air Force formed the Central Airmen Selection Board in May 1980 at Air Force Station New Delhi (AFND). The Board was under the control of the Air Headquarters. In 1996, the headquarters was moved from AFND to Brar Square, Naraina. An Air Commodore commands the Central Airmen Selection Board.

The Central Airmen Selection Board performs various roles, wherein, testing and enrolling Airmen and NCs (E) is the primary one. In addition to these, the Board also performs various other functions. Eligibility for IAF Airmen X&Y Group Admit Card 2021

All the interested candidates must have filled in the application form on time and would have started preparing for the exam by now. However, sometimes, one fills the form and sits for the examination, but lacks the required documents or qualifications. To clear things out for you, we have mentioned the eligibility criteria below, which include the age limit and education qualification. Also, candidates must know that the qualification varies from one Group Tade to the other.

Educational Qualification-

Group X (Except Education Instructor Trade)- The candidates must have completed Class 12/ Intermediate or any equivalent qualification with Physics, English, and Mathematics. He should have scored a minimum of 50% marks overall and in English. Or

He should have passed Diploma Course in Engineering, with a minimum of 50% marks overall and in English.

Group Y (Except Med Asst and Musician Trade)- The person should have completed Class 12/ Intermediate or any equivalent exam from a recognized institute under CBSE. He must have also scored a minimum of 50% marks in English and overall.

Group Y (Med Asst Trade)- The applicants must have completed their Class 12/ Intermediate or any Equivalent with Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English as subjects. He must have also scored a minimum of 50% marks in English and overall.

Group Y (Musician Trade)- Interested candidates must have passed Class 10 or its equivalent examination from any institute recognized by the Government Schools or Boards. He must be proficient in any of the instruments mentioned here.

Trumpet/ Violin/ Clarinet/ Jazz-Drum/ Bass Trombone/ Guitar/ Viola/ Contra Bass (String Bass)/ Bass/ Saxophone/ Euphonium/ Piccolo/ Key Board/ Sarod/ Cello.

Age Limit-

All candidates must be born between 16th February 2001 to 29th December 2004. Both the dates are inclusive here. The upper age limit of the Airmen Group X & Y recruitment is 21 years.
