The applicants could apply between 16/08/2020- 24/09/2020. Total number of vacancies for both the posts of Bihar Police Sub- Inspector and Sergeant are 2213. Which includes 1998 posts for SI and 215 vacancies for Sergeant. Both the posts refer to the Level-6 in Bihar Police. Now, the age limit for the applicants belonging to different categories is :

Exam Pattern Bihar Police SI/ Sergeant 2021 : Prelims and Mains
For both the Sub Inspector and Sergeant the pattern of Prelims and mains exam will be the same. As stated above there will be two parts to the written examination i.e. Prelims exam and the mains exam. The prelim is a qualifying exam. Candidates have to clear the prelims to appear in the Mains exam. After the Mains exam, a physical test is conducted. The final merit will include the marks in both the mains exam and the physical test. The pattern of Prelims and mains exam of Bihar police SI/Sargent recruitment 2021 are as follows:

In the Prelims exam, there will be two sections only consisting of questions about the General Knowledge and Current affairs.
