The first step is the written examination in which the candidates have to attempt the exam Online or on the OMR sheets that will be intimated before-hand. The educational qualifications required for the written examination include :
- Bachelor of Science ( Hons.) in Nursing OR Bachelor of Science ( Post Basic) in Nursing
- A division nurse registered through the Haryana Nurse Registration Council
- Required Matric subjects Hindi or Sanskrit
HSSC Staff Nurse Exam Pattern 2021
The written exam will be of 90 marks. The subjects that the students will be preparing for the written exam include:
- Reasoning, General Awareness, Mathematics, Science, Computer, Hindi, English which hold a weightage of 75% marks in the written exam.
- 25 % marks include subjects like History, Culture, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Environment, and Culture of Haryana.
The second part of the HSSC Staff Nurse selection process includes the socio-economic selection criteria. The candidate will get 5 marks if he/ she is :
- a first or second child whose father has died till the candidate attained 15 years of age.
- the first or second child whose father has died till father attained 42 years of age.
- A widow
Now, in case the candidate or any of his family members have not been a regular employee in any Department of Haryana Government or any State government , in that case also the candidate will be given 5 marks.
