After being hit by the deadly virus, the Center stated that exams for school children will be canceled. In continuation of that, all state governments made similar announcements. Rajasthan government had already promoted students till Class 7 and then notified everyone about the senior classes. Now that all students except Class 10 and 12 have been promoted to the next class, students of these two classes are waiting for new updates. Right now, the main focus is to keep the students safe, and thus, the Rajasthan Education Minister, Govind Singh Dostara, canceled the exams. For the Class 10 students, there are highly likely chances that they will receive Promote Certificate results from the Board. The Education Minister stated, ” It is necessary to conduct Class 12 Board examination as the students have to appear for college admission.’. He also said that the decision on Class 12 Board examinations will be taken once the situation becomes normal. Meanwhile, the government has stated that it will review the Class 10 Board examination and then decide if the exams have to be conducted. So far, as per the situation, the Class 10 students will receive the Promote Result. However, to know about the Class 12 case, we have to wait until the new notice.

Students, there is no surety of Class 10 and Class 12 students getting promote results, at least not for now. Last year, when a similar situation appeared, the Board promoted all students except those of Class 10 and 12. These students sat for the examination later when the situation settled a little. The same can happen this year as well. After 15th May 2021, the State government will review the situation adn then reach a conclusion on the Class 12 exams. During this period, the Board will see what to decide of the Class 10 Board examination. You can stay updated with the Board notifications and keep preparing, if in case, the exams take place.
