SBTET stands for State Board of Technical Education and Training was established in 1982 under the A.P. Education Act, section 6. It is an autonomous body and is now in the state of Telangana. The Chairman and Commissioner of Technical Education along with other officials of the state government head the Board. The Telangana State Board conducted the odd semester (1st, 3rd, and 5th) examinations in the month of March 2021.
